How I Built a Black-Owned Skincare Brand That Delivers Real Results

The real story behind Prosperity Self Care Essentials

 

When I created Prosperity Self Care Essentials, I wasn’t thinking about trends. I was thinking about solutions real skincare solutions that could change lives the way they changed mine.

Like many of us, I was tired of trying product after product that promised a glow-up but delivered nothing but irritation, breakouts, or wasted money. I didn’t want skincare that only looked good on a shelf. I wanted something that worked especially for Black women, for sensitive skin, for people juggling a thousand things who still deserve to feel beautiful and cared for.

So I built it myself.

Prosperity Self Care Essentials was born out of two needs:

 

Clean skincare that delivers visible results, and
A self-care ritual that feels like a gift, not a chore.

 

Every formula in our collection is rooted in clean science and real experience powered by plant-based actives, gentle yet effective ingredients, and customer-tested results that speak for themselves.

 

One of our customers said, “Results in 3 days is insane!” That wasn’t luck that was intentional formulation and a deep commitment to quality.
